Purpose of the Events Sub-Committee:
- To provide a forum in which aspiring female actuaries can network and identify sponsors.
- Central point of communication and liaison with the ASABA My Planner team to organise events.
- Supporting other sub-committees in planning in person events.
Initiatives in the Events Sub-Committee:
The Annual breakfast is the AWC’s annual flagship event and is meant to connect females across the actuarial profession.
Networking events are aimed at creating a female empowerment network in the actuarial profession.
