Events

Purpose of the Events Sub-Committee:

  • To provide a forum in which aspiring female actuaries can network and identify sponsors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Central point of communication and liaison with the ASABA My Planner team to organise events.
  • Supporting other sub-committees in planning in person events.

Initiatives in the Events Sub-Committee:

Annual breakfast:

The Annual breakfast is the AWC’s annual flagship event and is meant to connect females across the actuarial profession.

Networking events:

Networking events are aimed at creating a female empowerment network in the actuarial profession.
